Mission & Strategic Plan

Our Mission Statement

The Beaumont Unified School District shall provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students in a safe and secure learning environment through a shared commitment among home, school, and community.

Our Vision

The vision of the Beaumont Unified School District is to provide high-quality education by inspiring all students to establish and achieve goals to become responsible and productive citizens. A shared commitment between school, home, and community will provide an environment that is conducive to intellectual, academic, personal, civic, and social growth.

Organizational Core Values
    • We believe all students can and should learn, and it is our responsibility to provide appropriate opportunities to facilitate that learning
    • We believe all people should be treated with dignity and respect
    • We believe student success is the primary focus of all our efforts
    • We believe all people should act with integrity, perform at exemplary levels, and should be accountable for results
    • We believe a commitment from students, home, school, and community is vital to student success
    • We recognize that students learn in different ways and at different rates, and we will provide for these differences
    • We believe all people have value and worth; we embrace diversity and cultural differences as an asset and strength
    • We believe that with the right attitude, individual and organizational achievement is unlimited
Essential Goals and Outcomes
    • Each and every student will read at or above grade level by third grade
    • Each and every student will graduate high school from Beaumont USD College and/or Career Ready.  Utilizing California's College and Career Indicator (CCI) as our guide, students will be considered "Prepared" when they exhibit successful academic performance, engage in multiple enriching experiences through a broad course of study, explore numerous viable career opportunities through “Be Ready Beaumont”, and have a deep understanding of their own strengths, interests, and values
    • Each and every staff member and student is highly valued and appreciated and will be treated with dignity and respect whose social and emotional needs are honored through designated resources, help, and support
    • Students must have the authority, capacity, and responsibility to own their learning. All staff support the need to teach children how to do this in all settings
