2023-24 Welcome Back Message

Mays Kakish

I am excited to welcome you back as we launch into the 2023-24 school year! This school year offers us new opportunities to fulfill aspirations and reach higher to accomplish our dreams. Our guiding theme for last year was Go First! This theme served us well in reminding us to take initiative and step up to be leaders in everything we do.

This year, we are taking this spirit of action to the next level with our 2023-24 theme: Go First! Be All In. Beaumont USD students, staff, families, and community members are encouraged to take ownership of their personal growth and service to others. Go First by continuing to be a self-starter and looking for opportunities to make a positive impact in our school community. Be All In on the growth and success of others. Be All In as a collaborator. Be All In on getting involved in activities and service. Be All In on caring and creating a sense of belonging for others. Be All In on being the best version of yourself.

As we embark on this new school year, let’s remember our District’s four organizational goals:

  1. Every student will read at or above grade level by third grade. This is essential in ensuring that our students have the prerequisite skill to access learning across all disciplines and content.
  2. Every student will graduate ready for college or their career. This goal is our “why”...why we exist as a school system. We are opening doors for students to maximize their individual potential.
  3. Every staff member and student is highly valued and appreciated and will be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to be a school District that is a safe and nurturing place for all.
  4. Students must have the authority, capacity, and responsibility to own their learning. This is important for our learners to reach new levels of success.
Together and with a shared commitment, we create a safe and secure school community that we all are proud to be a part of. Students and staff set the tone daily to be their best. We eagerly welcome you back to Go First and Be All In as a Beaumont USD family.
