Step by Step Guide to Enroll

If you are interested in enrolling your student in the program, please follow the next steps

 
Step 1 | Enroll in the Beaumont Unified School District
If your child is already enrolled, proceed to the next step. Do NOT re-enroll
 
Step 2 | Complete the Dual Language Immersion Interest Form

 

Step 3 | Attend the mandatory "Informational Meeting"*

The next meeting is on Tuesday, Mar. 26, 2024 at 5 p.m. in Spanish and at 6 p.m. in English

*An email with mandatory meeting information will be sent to the parents who completed the Dual Language Immersion Program interest form. Attending the meeting does not guarantee acceptance into the program

 

Step 4 | Complete Student Screening/Language Assessment

The language assessment is used to identify language proficiency*

We only assess students identified as speaking "Spanish" or being "Bilingual" on the Dual Language Immersion interest form

 

Step 5 | Student Selection Occurs Using the Following–

1. Siblings of students currently enrolled in the Dual Language Immersion Program 

2. Students whose primary language is Spanish

3. Students residing within the Beaumont USD boundaries

4. Children of CURRENT Beaumont USD employees

5. Interest Form Date Stamp

6. Students residing outside the Beaumont USD boundaries

 

Step 6 | Receive Program Acceptance Letter

Parents are notified of student placement in mid-June via email.

Next, families will receive a letter, which will need to be signed and submitted electronically. If the commitment letter is not received, the student's spot will be given to someone on the waitlist
