Parent Complaint Procedures
How can I get answers to my concerns?
We are dedicated to serving you and your student's health and educational needs. If you would like to file a Title IX complaint or a uniform complaint procedure, please visit the relevant webpage for further instructions. Otherwise, please proceed below with the following steps––
#1 - Contact Your Child's Teacher
If your question or concerns related to your child's education, contact the teacher by email, phone, and/or ParentSquare. Often, the teacher is able to provide a prompt solution and the following steps are not necessary.
Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.
#2 - Contact the Assistant Principal or Principal
If you have not received a response within 48 weekday hours or the issue has not been resolved following the teacher's response, notify the assistant principal by email or phone. The assistant principal may advise you to talk with the school counselor or the principal.
Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.
#3 - Contact the District Administrator/Director
If you have not received a response within 48 weekday hours or are unsatisfied with the response, please contact the District office where it will be directed to the appropriate department director. Please provide detailed information, including the names and dates of the staff members you spoke with.
Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.
#4 - Contact the Assistant Superintendent
An assistant superintendent oversees their respective department. If you have not received a response within 48 weekday hours or you believe your concern has not been resolved after meeting with the department director, please contact the relevant assistant superintendent by email or phone.
Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.
#5 - Contact the Superintendent Office
The superintendent entrusts all District employees to lead their classrooms, schools, and departments in a manner that is ethical, legal, and within policy. The superintendent may arrange for a meeting by phone or in-person. The meeting may involve all respective parties. If you have a concern regarding a Districtwide matter, please contact us.
Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.
