Sites | ELOP Funded Experiences
ELOP-Funded Experiences provide opportunities to bring engaging, enriching, and educational activities to BUSD students in TK–8th grade. These experiences may include special events, hands-on activities, field trips, or other learning experiences that extend beyond the regular school day.
Interested in Requesting an ELOP-Funded Experience?
BUSD school sites interested in requesting Expanded Learning funding for an experience are encouraged to review the information below.
Experience Details

An ELOP-Funded Site Experience Form must be submitted and reviewed by the site administrator for consideration.

Experiences are generally designed as one-time events or activities that provide students with additional enrichment opportunities.

Requests are reviewed and approved by the Expanded Learning Department before ELOP funding may be used.

Field trips require advance approval by the Board of Trustees, so sites should plan and submit requests with sufficient time for the approval process.

ELOP-Funded Experiences are intended to expand access to enrichment opportunities and should not replace events or activities traditionally supported by ASB or PTA.

Funding and approval are subject to program requirements and availability.

Teachers | ELOP Opportunities
We partner with BUSD teachers to provide engaging and enriching after-school Opportunities for students in TK–8th grade. Teachers can share their interests, skills, and creativity by offering activities that extend learning and give students opportunities to explore new interests beyond the school day.

BUSD teachers interested in hosting an Expanded Learning Opportunity are encouraged to review the information below.
Opportunity Details

Opportunities may be offered on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays during each trimester block.

Teachers must submit an application through Informed K12 each trimester, including returning teachers who would like to offer the same Opportunity again.

Student registration is completed through the Attendly Registration Portal. Students must be officially enrolled in an Opportunity before participating. Space may be limited and enrollment is subject to availability.

Child Nutrition Services (CNS) will provide a snack for participating students.

Teachers hosting an Opportunity for the first time are required to attend a brief Zoom orientation before their program begins.

Athletic Coaches Only | ELOP Clinics
Expanded Learning partners with Beaumont High School athletic teams and coaches to provide engaging athletic Clinics for BUSD elementary and middle school students. Clinics give younger students an opportunity to learn new skills, explore different sports, and connect with BHS athletic programs in a fun and supportive environment.

Clinics may be offered on Mondays and/or Fridays during each trimester block.

Coaches must submit an application through Informed K12 each trimester they would like to host a Clinic.
