Becoming a Substitute for Beaumont USD

We would love to have you as a part of the Beaumont USD family. Read the information below to understand what you can do to become a substitute for our great district.

All substitute teachers must possess a valid teaching permit or credential.

If you plan on becoming a substitute for Beaumont USD and you do not currently possess a valid teaching permit or credential, we can assist you with getting your clearance and/or a 30-day sub permit.

If you plan on becoming a substitute for Beaumont USD and you need to be recommended for a 30-day sub permit, we will need official sealed transcripts received directly from the university.

You may have your university send them electronically to Tou Kue, Credential Technician, at [email protected]).  In order to qualify for this permit, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and have completed fingerprinting for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. For more information on fingerprinting, please see the following link: http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/online-services/DA-online-steps.html

The Beaumont Unified School District recruits for substitute teachers on an as needed basis via Edjoin.org. Please check Edjoin.org for current openings.
