Becoming a Certificated Substitute for Beaumont USD
Certificated Substitute Requirements >>
All substitute teachers must possess a valid 30-day sub permit or credential.
If you currently do not have a valid 30-day sub permit or teaching credential, we can assist in obtaining one.
To qualify for this permit, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and have completed fingerprinting for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). For more information on fingerprinting, please see the following link: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/
We can recommend you for a 30-day sub permit. We will need official transcripts received directly from the university, or official sealed transcripts that you bring to us, for you to get recommended.

- Auto Driver requires a H6 report from the DMV uploaded to your application.
- Bus Driver - If you are interested in subbing as a Bus Driver please email Cynthia Valdez, at [email protected]

statefoodsafety.com - Clerical/Office staff - Please submit a resume with your application. There are a variety of position levels, from Clerk 1 up to Technicians in the following areas: Accounting, Fiscal, Purchasing, Payroll, Risk, and Human Resources.
- Health Instructional Assistants - as a Substitute HIA 2, you will be working with students with disabilities. You are not required to have a CPR/First Aid certificate, but it is highly recommended. The certification should be for "infants to adults." This needs to be a "hands-on" course. Some courses have an online portion and also provide a hands-on portion. The District recommends
