Substitute Teacher

When to Apply:

The Beaumont Unified School District recruits for substitute teachers on an as needed basis via Edjoin.org. Please check Edjoin.org for current openings.
 

Requirements:

When applying for a substitute teacher position, you must possess a valid teaching permit or credential. If you do not currently possess a valid teaching permit or credential, please apply for an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit before applying online to one of our job postings. You may apply for this permit online at: http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/online-services/DA-online-steps.html. To qualify for this permit, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, passed the CBEST exam, and have completed fingerprinting for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (more information on fingerprinting is provided in the previous link). Please email the Commission on Teacher Credentialing with any credentialing or credential application questions at: credentials@ctc.ca.gov.
