Elementary Summer School Grades (K-5)

We are excited to announce our in-person 2021 Elementary Summer Program: EPIC Battles! In this three
week adventure from June 8th-June 25th, your child will be focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social-
emotional skills in grades K-5. Participation in the Summer School Program will enhance students’ learning
opportunities during the summer and will support your child’s future academic success during the next school
year.
When: June 8th - June 25th

Locations & Times:

Palm Innovation Academy (Palm and Anna Hause students)--8:00am-12:00pm
Tournament Hills Elementary (Tournament Hills, Three Rings Ranch, and Brookside
students)--8:15am-12:15pm
Starlight Elementary (Starlight and Sundance students)--8:30-12:30

For summer school, parents will be required to provide transportation for their students. Students can be dropped off 15 minutes prior to their school start time and must be picked up at dismissal time. We ask that parents DO NOT
drop off students prior to 15 minutes before their school start time as there will not be early access to the campus.

Attending the Summer Program is voluntary; therefore, students will be expected to follow the Behavior and Dress Code policies of BUSD Summer Program. Any severe and/or continuous violations will result in the loss of attending the Summer Program and/or privileges. Due to the accelerated nature of summer school, we are asking that students not be absent for more than 5.5 hours. Attendance to the first day of the Summer Program is mandatory.
Please complete the Summer School Application no later than Friday, May 14, 2021. You will be notified by Friday, May 28, 2021, with your student's Summer Program schedule and important information.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your site summer school principal.

Student Mask Exemption Waiver

The District recognizes that some students have medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from wearing a face mask or other face covering.

In order to receive an exemption from applicable face-covering requirements and return to in-person learning, this form must be completely filled out by the parent/guardian and the student's physician and returned to your school site.
