The purpose of Alternative Education is to provide additional learning opportunities for families in the Beaumont Unified School District. Please review the following alternative options to find the best learning opportunity that fits your student.
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT BEFORE YOU CAN APPLY FOR ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION, YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. IF YOU ARE NOT ENROLLED YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE APPROVED.

21st Century Learning Institute is a school that provides distance learning options that offer flexibility and choice for parents and students.

Glen View is an Alternative High School for 11th-12th grade students where an increased emphasis is placed on credit recovery.  Most students are selected based on their current credit level and the ability to recover credits towards graduation.  
 
Students are referred from Beaumont High School through an Alternative Placement Committee (APC). APC meetings for student placement at GVHS are held with parents and students quarterly (four times a school year), once you apply you will be notified of the meeting date and time that your student's application will be reviewed.
