Income Eligibility Requirements
Effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals if the household income is less than or equal to federal guidelines.
Qualification Guidelines
You do not need to turn in an application if you received a notification letter saying your child automatically qualifies for free meals.
Your child may qualify for free meals if--
- Any household member receives CalFresh, CalWORKS, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Woman, Infants, and Children, or FDPIR
- The child meets the definition of foster, homeless, migrant, or runaway
- The child is enrolled in their schools Head Start Program
How to Apply
Households that want to apply for meal benefits must--
- Complete one application for all children in the household
- Submit the application to the Child Nutrition Services office in person OR
- Apply online at www.beaumontusd.us
The school will let you know if your application is approved or denied for free or reduced-price meals.
Disputes
If you do not agree with the decision or results of verification, you have the right to a fair hearing, which may be requested by calling or writing the hearing official--
