Enrollment Requirements

The snow covered mountains surround Beaumont and Cherry Valley.
These steps are for new families enrolling into the Beaumont Unified School District. Families with students that are already enrolled with Beaumont Unified School District do not need to re-enroll. Families will be prompted via an email from Beaumont Unified School District to complete the "Back to School Data Confirmations" through Aeries Parent Portal during the summer.
 
Enrolling a new student into Beaumont Unified School District:
 
A legal Birth Certificate or Passport will be required to identify the new student being enrolled into Beaumont Unified School District. 
All vaccines must be up to date and valid. View the detailed requirements below. 
 
Vaccine 4-17 Years Old 7th Grade
Polio
4 Doses
(3 Doses OK if one was given on or after fourth birthday)
 
DTP
5 Doses of DTaP, DTP, or DTP or DT 
(4 Doses OK if one was given on or after fourth birthday)(3 Doses OK if last dose was given after seventh birthday for all 7th - 12th graders)
1 Dose of Tdap
(Or DTP/DtaP given on or after the seventh birthday)
MMR
2 Doses 
(Both given on or after first birthday)
 
Hepatitis B 3 Doses   
Varicella 2 Doses   
This step is only applicable to students enrolling in high school (grades 9-12). Transcript or report card should include all previous high school classes taken and the grades received in their high school classes.
This documentation is not required if your child does not have an Individualized Education Plan or 504 Plan. For questions or concerns, please contact us.
Photo documentation may include a passport, government ID, or driver's license.
Acceptable verification must include your legal name and address, such as --
  • Current rental or lease agreement
  • Current mortgage/escrow papers
  • Current utility bill
 
NOTICE - Cell phone bills will NOT be accepted as residency verification.
 
Residency Verification 
The Beaumont Unified School District may ONLY enroll students whose Parent(s) or Guardian(s) reside within School District boundaries (Education Code 48204). In cases in which residency is in question, the School District may conduct a residency investigation. Residency verification is a parent's responsibility and falsification of information provided will be grounds for immediate cancellation of enrollment. Other parties must complete the affidavit stipulating the registering parent lives in the residence of another person. The parent must present their photo ID and then may register.

 

If you are residing with someone else and the utility bills or lease/mortgage is in their name, both parties must complete an affidavit stipulating the registering parent lives in the residence of another person. NOTICE - A registration determined to be secured by false, misleading, or deliberate omission of information to establish residency in the Beaumont Unified School District will be considered null and void.

All new families with students enrolling in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st grade must provide the following forms filled out by their physician and dentist. 
 
Students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis as long as all of the necessary requirements have been met. Please be advised that enrollments will not be processed if the student does not have the required Immunizations.
