There will be a varsity girls volleyball tryout on Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 23 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM in the gym. All students are welcome to attend.
Please understand that this June tryout is being held specifically to help us prepare for the varsity team’s trip to Hawaii in September, which was recently approved by the Board. Because of the planning and fundraising needed for that trip, we need to begin identifying a tentative varsity roster so families can receive information and fundraising can begin.
There will be cuts made after the first day of tryouts. However, all rosters are tentative at this point. Students who do not attend the June tryout, or who are not placed on the varsity roster at that time, are still welcome to attend our July tryouts on July 22 and July 23 from 7:00 to 10:00 AM. Missing the June tryout does not mean a student cannot make the freshman, JV, or varsity team.
For students who make the tentative varsity roster in June, we will hold a parent meeting to go over the Hawaii trip, fundraising plans, expectations, and next steps.
The parent meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 PM in the L Building, Room L 105.
