Beaumont High School Student Receives Carson Scholar Award

Congratulations to Emma Hernandez, a Senior at Beaumont High School, on being selected and named a 2020 Carson Scholar. The honor is given to students who have embraced high levels of academic excellence and community service. In addition to receiving the titled honor, a medal, and a trophy that will be displayed at the high school, Emma is being awarded a $1,000 scholarship. She was actually selected in March last year, but because of the pandemic delaying everything, she just recently received the actual award.

In the pictures with Emma is her mother and Mrs. Allyson Ault, our Scholarship Coordinator at Beaumont High, who nominated Emma for the award. Mrs. Ault says Emma has shown true commitment to her school, community, and academics which is why she nominated her.

Emma has an interest in studying biological sciences after she graduates high school. Emma was one of three student MCs (master of ceremonies) at our Welcome Back event for staff 4 years ago when she was a 9th grader. We are very proud of her, her accomplishments, and her continued success.
