About Us

The Child Nutrition Services Department serves nearly 2 million nutritious meals each year. Our mission is to contribute to our student's nutritional and educational needs by giving them the keys to lifelong healthy eating habits.

More about what we do:

  • We participate in the National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs
  • We meet the USDA Dietary Guidelines and the My Plate recommendations
  • We adhere to all current State of California legislation pertaining to childhood obesity.
  • We serve students breakfast in the 20-30 minutes prior to the start of school on all campuses 
  • We serve free after school meals at Beaumont High School & other participating school sites
  • We provide field trip meals to keep students fed outside of school

We are excited to once again provide free summer meals to children in our community! Our meal service locations and hours are listed below. Please note that, in accordance with program requirements, all meals must be consumed on-site and cannot be taken to go or removed from the premises. We look forward to serving our community and helping ensure children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer.

No Fee Option
Families are welcome to add money to their student's meal account.  At this time, the no-fee option available is by cash:

  • Students may bring cash to the cafeteria

  • The Cashier will apply the money directly to the student's meal account
  • Funds are available for use as soon as they are deposited

2026-2027 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) 

 

The Beaumont Unified School District is pleased to continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026–2027 school year.  Through CEP, all enrolled students are eligible to receive one nutritious breakfast and one lunch each school day at no charge, regardless of household income.

 

No meal application is required. Families do not need to complete any additional paperwork for their students to receive school meals. All enrolled students may participate in the National School Breakfast and National School Lunch Programs at no cost throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

 

NONDISCRIMINATION STATEMENT FOR NUTRITION PROGRAMS

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its agencies, offices, employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA (not all bases apply to all programs). Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.) should contact the state or local agency that administers the program or contact USDA through the Telecommunications Relay Service at 711 (voice and TTY). Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027 (PDF), found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
