The Beaumont Unified School District prides itself in providing quality educational opportunities in a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. This is why one of our most important initiatives is school facilities planning.

 

Over the past 11 years, modernization and construction projects have been underway in our school district. In 2008, with your support and a 62 percent voter approval, a $125 million-dollar bond measure known as “Measure Z” was approved.

Project Description
Under Measure Z, the Palm Innovation Academy will receive a new 1,600-square-foot kitchen building and lunch shelter. The project will include new site work, which includes path of travel improvements, parking lot upgrades, landscaping, and fire alarm upgrades to support the new building.

Project Description

Glen View High School was built in 1967. Under Measure Z Glen View High School will receive a new 5,000sf single-story four-classroom building. The project will also include new site work which includes path of travel improvements, landscaping, perimeter fencing, a new water meter, and electrical upgrades to support the new building.

Beaumont High School Expansion Project 

The scope of work encompassed two new 30,000 SF, two-story modular construction buildings. These facilities include 40 classrooms, career technical education programs, an additional administration wing, a new lunch shelter building, an entrance canopy, a field storage, and concessions building. Additionally, two new parking lots, a dedicated bus and student drop-off zone, tennis courts, basketball courts, softball and baseball fields, and soccer fields were incorporated.

Beaumont High School Performing Arts Project
