Measure Z Bond

The Beaumont Unified School District prides itself in providing quality educational opportunities in a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. This is why one of our most important initiatives is school facilities planning.

Over the past 11 years, modernization and construction projects have been underway in our school district. In 2008, with your support and a 62 percent voter approval, a $125 million-dollar bond measure known as “Measure Z” was approved.

Palm Innovation Academy | Kitchen and Shelter

The TK-5 grade primary school received its first kitchen and lunch shelter since 1941. Along with a fully-furnished kitchen with a walk-in refrigerator, the project included remodeled student bathrooms, ADA path of travel improvements, fire alarm upgrades, parking lot modifications, and landscaping. 

 

Completed: Spring 2026

Glen View High School was built in 1967. Under Measure Z Glen View High School will receive a new 5,000sf single-story four-classroom building. The project will also include new site work which includes path of travel improvements, landscaping, perimeter fencing, a new water meter, and electrical upgrades to support the new building.

The high school received two new 30,000 square-foot, two-story buildings featuring 40 classrooms and a career technical education program. Additionally, the school received sports fields for softball, baseball, and soccer. Tennis and basketball courts were also added among numerous other upgrades.
