K-12 Schools Guidance
Current Guidance Highlights
K-12 students and staff are strongly recommended to mask indoors regardless of vaccination status
Asymptomatic students may remain in school and avoid interruptions to in-person education, even if they are exposed to someone with COVID-19, as long as they remain symptom free (asymptomatic).

- Students may return once fever-free without the use of fever reducing medication for at least 24-hours and all other symptoms are mild and improving
- A well-fitting mask is recommended for 10 days when using shared indoor space
Additional COVID-19 Information and Resources
Beaumont USD is and has been following the health and safety protocols implemented by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, also known as Cal/OSHA, and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for K-12 schools.
The District’s goal is to make sure that our schools stay safe and open by mitigating the potential for transmission of the COVID-19 virus in our schools and workspaces. However, this requires personal and professional responsibility and cooperation from the entire school community, and it’s only through a cooperative effort that we can make sure our students' education is not interrupted.
Safety Strategies
- We will continue to replace and maintain our HVAC and ventilation systems.
