About
The Child Nutrition Services Department serves nearly 2 million meals each year, with the goal to provide every student a nutritious and delicious meal prepared under safe and sanitary conditions. Our mission is to contribute to our student's nutritional and educational needs by giving them the keys to lifelong healthy eating habits. We strive to provide high quality, nutritious food and extraordinary services that will create opportunities for every child to lead healthy, productive and valuable lives.

- We participate in the National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs
- We meet the USDA Dietary Guidelines and the My Plate recommendations
- We adhere to all current State of California legislation pertaining to childhood obesity.
- We serve students breakfast in the 20-30 minutes prior to the start of school on all campuses
- We serve free after school meals at Beaumont High School & other participating school sites
- We provide field trip meals to keep students fed outside of school

Students may bring cash to the cafeteria
- The Cashier will apply the money directly to the student's meal account
- Funds are available for use as soon as they are deposited

2024 - 25 Community Eligibility Provision
The Beaumont Unified School District has been approved for the option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs called Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2024-25 School Year. All enrolled students are eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and one lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024- 2025 school year. No further action is required of you. Your student(s) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.
NONDISCRIMINATION STATEMENT FOR NUTRITION PROGRAMS
In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its agencies, offices, employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA (not all bases apply to all programs). Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.
Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.) should contact the state or local agency that administers the program or contact USDA through the Telecommunications Relay Service at 711 (voice and TTY). Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
