Thank you for your interest in enrolling your student into the Dual Language Immersion program. To enroll, please follow the steps below––

A Step by Step Guide to Enroll

If you are interested in enrolling your student in the Dual Language Immersion program, please follow the steps below––

 

Step 1

Enroll your student in to the Beaumont Unified School District

If your child is already enrolled, proceed to the next step. Do not re-enroll.

Step 2

Complete the Interest Form starting on February 16, 2026 through March 31, 2026. Link below

Step 3

Attend ONE of the Mandatory Informational Meetings

Mandatory Meeting #1 February 9, 2026, 350 W. Brookside Ave Beaumont, Board Room

5:00pm- English session 6:00pm- Spanish session

 

Mandatory Meeting #2 March 9, 2026, 350 W. Brookside Ave Beaumont, Board Room

5:00pm- English session 6:00pm- Spanish session

 

* Attending the meeting does not guarantee acceptance into the program

 

Step 4

Complete student screening/language assessment

The language assessment is used to identify language proficiency*

We only assess students identified as speaking "Spanish" or being "Bilingual" on the Dual Language Immersion interest form.

 

Step 5

Sign the acceptance letter

Parents will be notified of student placement by May 10, 2026 via email. In the email we will include an a link to the acceptance letter via an Informed K12 form. The form must be filled out by Friday, May 8, 2026. If the acceptance letter is not received, the student’s spot will be given to a person on the waiting list. 

Disclaimer

Students are selected using the following––

1. Enrolled into the Beaumont Unified School District

2. Completed Dual Immersion Interest Form (date/time stamp)

3. Attended Parent Information Night

4. Siblings of students currently enrolled in the Dual Language Immersion Program 

5. Students whose primary language is Spanish

6. Students residing within the Beaumont USD boundaries

7. Children of CURRENT Beaumont USD employees

 

Once a student is enrolled in a Dual Language Immersion site at a designated school, the student may not transfer to another school. For example. a student enrolled in Palm Innovation Academy Dual Language Immersion site must remain at Palm Innovation Academy and may not transfer to the Starlight Dual Language Immersion site, and vice versa.
