District Transfers
INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSFERS
REQUESTS THAT COME IN AFTER MARCH 31, 2023 WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST AND DECIDED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS, WITH NO GUARANTEE OF TRANSFER TO THE SITE YOU HAVE CHOSEN.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WAITING LIST INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSFER REQUEST DECISIONS MAY NOT BE DECIDED UNTIL AFTER JULY 20TH-AUGUST 30TH.
THERE WILL BE NO TRANSFERS GRANTED TO SUMMERWIND TRAILS or STARLIGHT ELEMENTARY, FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR.
THERE WILL BE LIMITED TRANSFERS GRANTED TO SUNDANCE ELEMENTARY AT THIS TIME DUE TO CAPACITY RESTRAINTS.
PARENT PORTAL SCHOOL OF CHOICE INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXISTING PARENTS
If you want to submit a new request for a current existing student for the 2023-24 school year, please follow these steps on or after February 1, 2023.
- Log in to your parent portal account Aeries Parent Portal.
- Click on your student's name that you wish to transfer
- Click on Student Info from the menu bar
- Click on School of Choice Requests (Waiting List)
- Fill and submit
- One student per submission. If you have multiple students please submit them separately.


PARENT PORTAL SCHOOL OF CHOICE INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW STUDENTS
If you want to submit an Intra District Transfer request for a new incoming student for the 2023-24 school year, please follow these steps.
- You will need to enroll them first through Aeries Online. (www.beaumontusd.aeries.net/enrollment)
- Once we have completed their pre-enrollment for next year, we will activate your parent portal account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email with your parent portal log in instructions
- Log in to your parent portal account
- Click on your student's name that you wish to transfer
- Click on Student Info from the menu bar
- Click on School of Choice Requests (Waiting List)
- Fill and submit
- One student per submission. If you have multiple students please submit them separately.


Please note there is no guarantee of placement due to significant growth in our community. We have a responsibility to accommodate boundary students first, therefore transfers are reviewed and granted based on the availability of space.
Continuous enrollment is contingent on good attendance and behavior. Students who have excessive absences and/or tardies to school may have their Intra District Transfer Permit revoked and the student will be required to attend their boundary school.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be notified when there is space available at your requested site, there is no guarantee you will be notified before the first day of School.
*INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFERS
All current students on an Inter District Transfer will need to REAPPLY for a new transfer for the 2023-24 school year.
Students who reside outside the Beaumont Unified School District boundaries may apply for enrollment in the Beaumont Unified School District. You must first obtain an Inter-District attendance permit from your student's resident district. Until you have provided us with the release from your resident district, we cannot consider enrollment for your student. Approval is pursuant to Board policy and Education Code 466600-46611.
We will be accepting New Inter-District Transfer requests starting February 1- March 31, 2023.

*INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFERS LEAVING BEAUMONT
Students who reside within the Beaumont Unified School District boundaries may apply for enrollment in a district outside of Beaumont USD boundaries. Approval is pursuant to Board policy and Education Code 466600-46611. Applications for Inter-District attendance permits are available to fill out online at this time due to our office closure. Please follow the link below to start the process.
Step 1. Fill out and submit the online Inter-District form to Leave Beaumont USD
Step 2. We will review and digitally sign the form
Step 3. We will email a pdf copy of the signed form back to you to provide to the District you wish to attend
