Important Emergency Protocols
Lock-Down Protocol
Hold and Secure Protocol
A hold and secure protocol may be initiated when there is a threat outside of the school or facility. All building entrances are locked and no person is permitted to enter or leave the building. No visitors will be permitted on campus except emergency responders.
Shelter in Place Protocol
A shelter in place protocol may be initiated when there is a threat outside of the school or facility such as a "gas leak" or "tornado." No person is permitted to leave the building.
When there is a threat that requires the school to leave the building or campus, an "evacuation" is ordered. Families will be notified of the safe location their child is located.
On alert protocols may be initiated when there is information of a potential threat and an elevated safety protocol may need to be implemented. Students and employees continue their normal activities, but exercise situational awareness and ensure they are prepared for further actions, if necessary.
