Income Eligibility Guideline for Free and Reduced-Price Meals, Snacks and Milk in Child Nutrition Programs
Effective July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024

Effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals if the household income is less than or equal to federal guidelines.

Qualification Guidelines

You do not need to turn in an application if you received a notification letter saying your child automatically qualifies for free meals.

 

Your child may qualify for free meals if--

 

  • Any household member receives CalFresh, CalWORKS, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Woman, Infants, and Children, or FDPIR
  • The child meets the definition of foster, homeless, migrant, or runaway
  • The child is enrolled in their schools Head Start Program

 

How to Apply

Households that want to apply for meal benefits must--

 

  • Complete one application for all children in the household
  • Submit the application to the Child Nutrition Services office in person OR
  • Apply online at www.beaumontusd.us

 

The school will let you know if your application is approved or denied for free or reduced-price meals.

 

Disputes

If you do not agree with the decision or results of verification, you have the right to a fair hearing, which may be requested by calling or writing the hearing official--
