TK/Kindergarten Info

To best serve the needs of our community amid increasing student enrollment and limited funding, we have eliminated the full-day schedule. The AM/PM schedule allows us to serve double the number of students with the same number of classrooms.

A TK/kindergarten program will be offered to help offset the AM/PM coverage gap and provide students with a full day of care—up to nine hours. Enrollment will be extremely limited based on available space at each school site. Applications for this program will open at the end of the 2025–26 school year.

The Dual Language Immersion program, also known as DLI, will follow an AM and PM schedule for all TK and kindergarten children.

All parents/legal guardians will choose their preferred AM/PM schedule via the online enrollment application. While we will do our best to accommodate your preference, it is NOT guaranteed due to limited classroom space.

We recommend selecting the same schedule time for each student via your online enrollment application. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, however, we cannot guarantee any individual student nor siblings will receive the same schedule due to limited classroom space.

For the 2026-27 school year, all TK/kindergarten schedules are limited to a half-day. There are no full-day options. Participating students will attend either an AM schedule or a PM schedule. For the most up-to-date schedule, please contact your child's school or website.

No. According to the California Education Code Section 48200, only 6 - 18 year old persons are mandated by law to be enrolled in full-time education, except where exempted by provisions of law. However, we highly recommend enrolling your child into a TK and kindergarten program because of the academic and social benefits.

Each child is unique. They may benefit or be challenged by the schedule transition. However, we believe any amount of early education is beneficial for children. We encourage you to talk to your assigned teacher about your concerns and consider seeking additional social and learning opportunities outside of school.

Each school will offer AM/PM sections in both TK and kindergarten at the following schools––

5. Summerwind Elementary Schools.  
6. Sundance Elementary School
7. Three Rings Ranch Elementary School
8. Tournament Hills Elementary School

There will be a maximum of 24 students in a kindergarten class. There will be a maximum of 20 students in a TK class.

You will receive a confirmation email from the Beaumont Unified School District’s Aeries portal notifying you that your student is enrolled.

Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting transfers into the TK and kindergarten program due to limited classroom space.

You will receive confirmation via email that your child has been accepted to the program or placed on a waiting list after July 2026.
