Behavioral Intervention & Support

About

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports or PBIS is a positive, proactive approach to discipline. The objective of PBIS is to teach students social skills to be successful in the classroom, on the playground, and in life. The three tiered approach to PBIS encourages a positive climate school-wide, in all locations and for all students. Beaumont Unified School District implemented PBIS district-wide for the 2013-2014 school year.

On January 21, 2025, the Riverside County Office of Education recognized 11 schools in our District for excellence in nurturing positive student behaviors and fostering inclusive school environments.
